A critical boundary lesson for me was the day I really learned that I really have no control over what other people think or say about me.
This is a lesson that I often relearn. Some days it takes me longer to remember. Sometimes I get caught up in the negative vacuum of worrying about what was said about me but eventually I remember that isn't any of my business.
This realization is very freeing because it eliminates the toxic churning inside me and allows me to go on with living my life to the best of my ability.
